OUR STAFF

Tina Marion
Owner/Head Coach

Tina is married to Ryan Marion and has two grown children Kenedy and Blake. Tina is originally from Killeen, TX where she grew up developing her gymnastic skills. Her childhood was spent at Gabrielle’s Gymnastics from the time she was five years old until she graduated High school. Once she graduated she began her coaching career at this very same gym. She coached competitive gymnastics as well as pioneered Gabrielle’s first All-Star cheer team. A year later she moved to San Antonio and coached competitive gymnastics at a gym in Bourne, TX. Life took Tina to Waco, TX where she began cheering and then to Wichita Falls, TX where she cheered for Midwestern State for 3 years. That is where her Love for cheer became a passion. Learning new stunts, performing at games, competing at NCA nationals, judging Jr. High and High school tryouts, and coaching a High school cheer team was something she couldn’t get enough of. After graduation she began a separate career but could not end her cheer passion. She continues to choreograph for all star and High school teams as well as judge Jr. High and High school cheer tryouts.

Tina and her family moved to Carthage in 2007 where she continued coaching tumble and competitive cheer. In 2013 The Marion’s felt God leading them to open Legacy Tumble & Cheer in Carthage in hopes of being able to provide a competitive cheer and tumble experience in a Christian atmosphere for Carthage and the surrounding areas. Tina is USASF certified levels 1-4 in stunts, basket tosses, and tumble. Her Goal is to develop the whole athlete. “I feel that Legacy should be a place where you develop lifelong friendships, tumble and cheer skills that push you to be your best, and that Christian coaches help you to grow in confidence develop you as a leader so that you will be able to use these skills for the rest of your life.
